An extension is a part of JUDLEX that you add to your licence. There is nothing to install: you subscribe, it switches on, and its screens appear where they belong.
What comes with JUDLEX and what belongs to an extension
The base of JUDLEX is for organising your paperwork and creating matters and case files, with or without artificial intelligence. You always have that.
In the Personal section the base also covers what a person needs for their own papers: your accounts, date reminders, letters for routine procedures and reports. Personal and Professional explains this.
Everything else is tied to an extension and does not exist without it, either on the screens or in the chat.
What is available today
Extension | What it adds | Personal | Professional |
|---|---|---|---|
The email related to your matters, the register, dates and the time-limit sheet, and procedural filings | Yes | Yes |
Other extensions for the Professional section appear in Licence and plans marked In preparation. While they are, they cannot be bought.
How to subscribe
In your account menu, Licence, then the Extensions card in Licence and plans. Each card says what the extension adds. To subscribe you need an active licence and to be signed in to your account.
Click Subscribe · {importe} today on the extension's card.
Before anything is charged, JUDLEX shows you what is charged today, and you confirm it.
You pay, and the card changes to Active on this computer.
What is charged today is the part left until your licence renews. An extension follows the same billing schedule and the same seats as the licence: it is added to the same subscription and has no separate one. The step by step, including what happens if your bank asks you to confirm the charge, is in The licence.
How to cancel
On the same card, Cancel it. What you paid is not refunded: the extension keeps working until the date the paid period ends, and the card says so: Cancelled: works until …. Until that day you can undo it with Keep it.
When an extension lapses
Reading never switches off. If you cancel the extension or the licence expires, what you did with it can still be read and exported, but nothing new can be done. Each extension explains its own case: Without Correspondence and filings.
If you have never had an extension, you do not see its screens.
