When something does not go through, JUDLEX tells you so in a notice. This section collects those notices in the words they use on screen, so you can search for exactly what you are reading, and explains what to do about each one.
How to read a notice
A JUDLEX notice has two parts. The title says what happened: Your session has expired, This computer needs to be authorised, Your bank declined the charge. The line underneath says what to do, or why there is nothing for you to do.
Three phrases come up often, and each means exactly what it says:
"Nothing has been charged." If a payment notice says this, there is no charge at all. Payment notices always say whether anything was charged.
"It is not a problem with your subscription" or "It is not your doing." The problem is not on your computer or in your licence. There is nothing to change on your side: try again later.
"Do NOT press subscribe again." Something is already in place. Pressing again will not help.
What is never lost
None of the notices in this section deletes your work. Your clients, matters, case files and documents stay on your computer.
If the licence is not active on this computer, JUDLEX switches to read-only mode. You can still open, view, correct, delete and export everything; what stops is creating anything new, adding documents and using artificial intelligence. Once the licence is back, everything carries on as it was. See The licence.
Losing the connection for a while does not stop JUDLEX either: it works for a few days offline with the permit the computer already holds.
Where to find each case
I cannot sign in to my account: email or password, an unconfirmed email, two-step verification, Google and LinkedIn, an expired session.
The licence will not activate or has stopped working: seats in use, a blocked computer, too many computer changes, no answer from the licence server, a version of JUDLEX that needs updating.
"This computer needs to be authorised": why JUDLEX asks, and how to authorise the computer from your account.
Payment problems: a declined card, a payment still being confirmed, a licence that already exists, an amount that has changed.
Extension problems: an extension you cannot subscribe to, or one you have subscribed to that never reaches this computer.
Updates and downloads: an update that cannot be checked or will not install.
My own provider does not work: an address that is not valid, models that do not appear, the vision test, the notice not accepted.
If your case is not here
Write to the JUDLEX team from Support in your account menu: Getting help. Copy the notice title exactly as it appears and say what you were doing. Do not include client details or the contents of a case file.
