You download JUDLEX from judlex.com without creating an account and without giving a card. There is no trial period because there is no need for one: you install it, open it and can see all of it. To work with it, that is, to add clients and bring in documents, you need your firm's licence.

Install it like any other program
Open the downloaded file and follow the steps your computer asks you to take.
Open JUDLEX
The first time, it opens straight onto the Clients screen. It does not ask you to sign in: the application works without an account, and an account is only needed for what requires our server, such as buying the licence or activating a seat.
What you see the first time
When you open JUDLEX for the first time, two things appear, one after the other.
A question about the usage summary. JUDLEX asks whether you want to send a daily usage summary to help find bugs. It does not carry a single word from your case files: only numbers, such as how many times the application was opened or which screens were visited. You can answer Yes, count me in or No, thank you, and you will not be asked again. Until you say yes, nothing is stored. We explain it in full in Your data: what stays and what goes out.

What you need to start working
You can look through all of JUDLEX with nothing else. To work, you need two things:
Your firm's licence. Without it you can see the application, but you cannot create clients or case files, or bring in documents. You buy or activate it from Licence, in your account menu: the box with your name or your firm's name, at the very bottom of the sidebar.
An artificial intelligence key. This is the account your firm opens with a provider, such as Anthropic or OpenAI, so that JUDLEX can read the papers. Without it, JUDLEX still sorts and numbers, but it cannot read a single paper. How to get one: Add your artificial intelligence key.
Language
JUDLEX is available in Spanish and English. To change the language, open your account menu, at the very bottom of the sidebar, and click English. To switch back, the same menu says Español.
