Your JUDLEX account is used to buy and renew the licence and to add extensions. You do not need to be signed in to work with your clients and case files, so nothing below stops you from opening and reading your work. You sign in from Profile → Account and security with Sign in, or with the Sign in to my account button that some notices show: Sign-in and device lock.
"The email or the password is not correct"
The email and password do not match any account. The notice deliberately does not say which of the two is wrong.
Check that the email is the one for your JUDLEX account, with no spaces before or after it. If you cannot remember the password, click Forgotten your password? on the same screen to ask for an email to change it. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder and, if it is not there either, write to us from Support.
"The email still needs confirming"
If the notice begins Your password is correct: the email still needs confirming, the account exists and the password is right, but the confirmation link sent when the account was created has not been opened.
Look for that message in your inbox, and in your spam folder too. If you cannot find it, Resend the confirmation email sends it again. Then sign in once more.
Accounts with two-step verification
If your account asks for a second step when you sign in, the notice reads This account has two-step verification. It cannot sign in from the app yet.
With that account, sign in at judlex.com in your browser. There is no way to sign in with it from the app using an email and password.
"Too many attempts in a row"
There have been several attempts in a short time. Wait a minute and try again.
No connection
If the notice says Could not contact the server and adds It is not your password, the problem is the connection, not your details. Check that the computer is online and try again.
When creating an account
This server is not accepting new accounts right now. Accounts cannot be created from the app at the moment. Write to us from Support and we will set you up: Getting help.
No answer came from the server. Try again. If it then tells you to check your email, the account had already been created: confirm it from the link and sign in.
If the notice points to a field (the email, the password or the name), correct that field. The password needs at least eight characters, including an upper-case letter, a lower-case letter and a number.
Google or LinkedIn
If clicking Google or LinkedIn brings up a notice saying that this sign-in method is not available or not set up yet, sign in with your email and password. There is nothing for you to switch on.
"Your session has expired"
The session saved on this computer is no longer valid: it has expired, or it was ended from somewhere else. The licence is fine, and in the meantime the computer keeps working with the permit it already holds.
Click Sign in to my account and sign in again with your email and password.
