You buy the JUDLEX licence once and it renews by itself, monthly or yearly, as you choose. You can buy it in the app or at judlex.com; the result is the same. Either way, you need to be signed in to your account.
The licence covers JUDLEX. Artificial intelligence is not included: the firm uses its own key with the provider it chooses, and the provider bills the firm directly.
Personal or Professional
There are two levels. Personal is for one person's own papers and has a single seat. Professional is the firm's licence, paid per seat, and every seat includes the Personal section as well. Which one suits you: Personal and Professional.
A seat is a computer with JUDLEX activated. A firm pays for the computers that work with JUDLEX, not for everyone on its books.
Prices
The purchase screen shows the price per seat and the total for what you have chosen before you pay. There is no need to ask for a quote.
Buying from JUDLEX
In the app, open Licence from your account menu. If you have no licence, or yours has expired, the calculator appears, and Subscribe opens the order. You pay by card and, once paid, the licence activates by itself on that computer. Step by step: The licence.
Buying from judlex.com
Open Subscription
Sign in at judlex.com and click Subscription in the menu. The Offers tab holds the calculator.
Choose what you need
Which level, if more than one is on sale. When both Personal and Professional are sold, there is a tab for each at the top.
What you are: Individual, Firm or Corporate.
Members who will work: how many seats.
How you pay: Monthly or Yearly.
The button underneath shows the total.
Click Buy
Buy JUDLEX opens with a summary. If you have a coupon, enter it under Coupon code and click Apply; the total is worked out again.
Pay
Continue to payment opens the card form, and Pay takes the payment. Your card details go straight to the payment processor and never pass through our servers.
Once the payment is confirmed, the licence becomes active, usually straight away. Subscription then says Your JUDLEX licence is active, with the renewal date, and View my licences takes you to your seats.
After buying
Open JUDLEX and sign in with the same email address: the licence activates by itself on that computer. If it does not show up, Find my licence, under Licence, looks for it in your account: Activating the licence on this computer.

If you already have a licence
Each account has one licence. Once it is active, Subscription no longer shows the calculator, and there is nothing to buy again:

Extensions are bought from JUDLEX, under Licence, and added to the same licence: Extensions. The list of extensions under Subscription shows which are included, which are bought in the app and which are not available yet.
If the licence expires without renewing, the calculator comes back and you buy it the same way as the first time.
If the payment does not go through
If the screen says a licence payment is already under way for your account, do not pay again: wait a few seconds and check My licences. If your bank declines the card, nothing is charged. Everything else is covered in Payments and invoices.
