You have one JUDLEX account: the same email and password work in the app and at judlex.com. The website is where you handle the licence and the money side of things: buying it, sharing its seats among the firm's computers and checking your payments. Your clients and case files are not there. They live on your computer, and the website shows nothing about them.
You do not need to be signed in to work with JUDLEX. The account is needed to buy and renew the licence, for extensions and to manage your computers.
Creating the account
If you have already created your account from JUDLEX, under Profile → Account and security, you do not need another one: sign in with it. See Sign-in and device lock.
Open the sign-up page
At judlex.com, go to the Sign in screen and click Sign up, below the form.
Fill in your details
Name, Username, Email, Password and Confirm Password. The password needs at least eight characters, with one capital letter, one lower-case letter and one number. The username can only contain letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores, and must not already be taken.
Accept the terms and click Create account
Tick that you accept the Terms and Privacy policy and click Create account. If the screen asks you to confirm your email address, open the link in the message you receive, and check your spam folder too.
Once you are done, you land on your judlex.com dashboard.
Signing in
On Sign in, enter your email address, or your username, and your password, and click Sign in. If the screen offers other ways to sign in, they work too; if it does not, use your email and password.
The app works the same way: if JUDLEX tells you that signing in with Google or LinkedIn is not available, sign in with your email and password.
If you have forgotten your password
Ask for the link
On Sign in, click Forgot your password?, enter your email address and click Send Reset Link.
Open the message
If the address belongs to an account, a link arrives so you can set a new password. The screen says the same thing whether or not the account exists, so that it never reveals who is a customer.
If the message has not arrived after a few minutes, and it is not in your spam folder either, write to the JUDLEX team from the app: Getting help.
What you will find inside
The dashboard menu has four entries:
My profile: your details and your account settings, in tabs: My Account (name, username, phone and photo), Preferences (language, theme, date format and time zone), Notifications, Security (changing your password and seeing recent sign-ins) and Payments (your saved cards).
Subscription: buy the licence or see when it renews: Buying the licence.
My licences: your licence number, its seats and which computer holds each one: Computers and seats at judlex.com.
Billing: your tax details and your JUDLEX payments: Payments and invoices.
At the top right, the menu under your photo has Account, which opens My profile, and Sign Out.
Language
judlex.com is available in English and Spanish. To switch, use the language selector in the top bar, or go to My profile → Preferences.
