JUDLEX

The client report

The case file told in plain language for your client, based on your status report, reviewed by you and with your letterhead and signature.

The Reports tab of the case file has two views: For the firm, which is your status report, and For the client, which tells the same in plain language for the person you represent.

The client report has four parts: what has happened, where we are, what comes next and what we need from you. Below them go the points you choose and, if you want, the fee estimate accounts.

Preparing it

Prepare with the AI writes the four parts from what JUDLEX puts together from the papers: the steps taken, the upcoming dates, what is missing and the points you have ticked. It goes through the case file chat, so the request and the reply stay in the conversation and you can keep asking.

What comes back is checked before you see it: every sentence has to cite a fact from the case file, and no rules, forecasts or figures that are not in the data are accepted. What does not pass is removed, and you are told how many sentences were removed.

You can also write it yourself, fully or in part. Each part has Add a sentence, and any sentence can be touched up or removed.

The points

The points of your status report appear with a checkbox. Only the ones you tick go out. Favourable points come ticked; unfavourable ones or ones to watch come unticked, so you decide what the client is told and how.

The accounts

If the case file has an accepted fee estimate, you can tick Include the accounts: the report will state what was estimated, what has been received and what is outstanding, with the amounts JUDLEX calculates. It comes unticked.

Reviewing and exporting

Save the draft and, once you have read it, tick I have reviewed it and it can go out. Without that tick it is not exported. If you change anything in the draft, the tick is removed; if the case file data changes after you reviewed it, you are asked to review it again.

Export PDF and Word saves both in the case file folder, with your letterhead and signature, and with no trace of JUDLEX. It does not go out without the signer's signature. With Communications, Send by email prepares an email to the client with the PDF, as a draft, for you to review and send.

Exported reports stay in the list below, with who reviewed them.
